The Downtown Long Beach Associates (DLBA) and the Long Beach Small Business Development Center (SBDC) will co-host a three-part marketing workshop series in August?specifically targeted to Downtown small businesses. The workshops will cover topics including target market identification, online marketing, developing a marketing plan, and tips on how to leverage community events in Downtown.
?Small businesses play a key role in the economic health of Downtown Long Beach,? said DLBA President and CEO Kraig Kojian. ?We are pleased to pool our resources and partner with the SBDC to better serve local business owners and stimulate the region?s economy.??
Small Business Marketing Workshops is a three-part series that takes place August 1, 8 and 15 from 9 ? 11 a.m. Participants attend all three workshops. The SBDC charges $35 for the full series. To register for the workshops, contact Tyler Kim via tylerk@dlba.org or (562) 485-1080.
The workshops will take place at the Small Business Development Center, 309 Pine Avenue, Long Beach, CA 90802. Two-hour free parking is available at the CityPlace parking structure, located at 3rd Street and Pine Avenue.
