College Access Scholarship

College Access Scholarship Around 300 qualified applicants will be selected and awarded to a $2,500 scholarship. Recipients attending part-time get around $1,250. We?ll retain a swimming pool of alternates who may have the scholarship if any of the original recipients do not match the requirements.

College Access Scholarship and finished higher education scholarships Qualifications:

&bull Attend college a minimum of part-here we are at the 2012-13 school year being a degree-seeking undergraduate student. At most colleges, to be considered a component-time student you must take a minimum of 6 credit hours, while full-time enrollment is 12 credit hours or more.
&bull College Access Scholarship Higher education Scholarships applicant must Complete the 2012-13 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) at www.fafsa.gov.
&bull Qualify for the Federal Pell Grant (eligibility is based on the link between the FAFSA &ndash students will probably be notified of eligibility for the FAFSA confirmation page in addition to their Student Aid Report (SAR)).
&bull College Access Scholarship Degree Scholarships applicant must Complete all ten Education Cents financial education courses.
&bull College Access Scholarship College Scholarships applicant must Complete the scholarship application (link below), including submitting the Student Aid Report (SAR) to ensure the Expected Family Contribution (EFC). Students get their SAR electronically within 3-five days of completing their FAFSA and via mail within a couple weeks of completing their FAFSA. Notice a sample SAR.
&bull Final eligibility will depend upon the student&rsquos college or university in partnership with the institution In Colorado Outreach and Access Team. This scholarship is non-transferable and can?t exceed a student&rsquos price of attendance to the academic year. This scholarship award is correct for just one-year simply for the 2012-13 academic year.

The way to apply the faculty Access Scholarship

Please read all 5 steps before begining the applying process.
&bull Complete your 2012-13 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) at www.fafsa.gov and qualify for a Pell Grant.
&bull Logon or Create your free Education Cents account (should you be already signed in, check out step 3.)
&bull Once you have signed in, click the link to perform the scholarship application including submitting your 2012-13 Student Aid Report (SAR) &ndash this is actually the last field for the application (it will be possible to send back for the form later to submit your SAR or edit the job provided that you might be signed in). The SAR will let us verify the Expected Family Contribution (EFC), that is utilized to ascertain qualification for a Pell Grant. Watch a sample SAR.

College In Colorado and the Colorado Department of upper Education will coordinate one further scholarship eligibility using the university or college you attend for your 2012-13 school year.

Please note: Applications will probably be considered complete only as soon as the SAR has become received and many types of ten Education Cents financial education is complete.
