Jr. Media Project Manager- (Norwegian-speaking)

The Jr. Media Project Manager will be part of UNIVERSUM's Media & Communications team. In this role, you will help ensure UNIVERSUM's client relationships and produce different articles for UNIVERSUM's Norwegian corporate clients. Working from the HQ in Stockholm or from Oslo, you will support the sales and marketing departments.

Main Responsibilities

Client contact: supporting sales and marketing, booking interviews, text editing in Adobe InCopy
Administrative assignments
In-house writer: Write and edit employee testimonials
Junior Editor: Assisting the Editor with various tasks, research, writing shorter articles, etc.
Managing smaller projects from idea to print

Professional Qualifications and Experience

Bachelor or Master's degree in Communication, Journalism
Education in journalism or copywriting is meriting
Since our primary target groups are young academics with business, engineering or IT background, education within these areas is meriting
Professional experience from writing articles or copywriting in Norwegian
Experience from student media and/or career focused media. Experience from working outside of Norway or in an international environment
Experience from other media markets, especially the Nordic, German or the American markets

Personal Skills

Excellent oral and written communication skills in Norwegian and English
Additional language skills in Danish and Swedish are a merit
High performer who takes own initiatives
Target-driven and solutions-oriented
Commercially astute and market-driven
Experience from developing and executing individual projects
Positive team player who is comfortable in a dynamic environment

Additional Details:

Compensation: Monthly salary + Computer/ mobile phone

Type of contract: An initial six-month employment with excellent possibilities for permanent placement

Location: Stockholm OR Oslo.
